Caring for your Mental Health at Solace

Psychiatric Medication Management

Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners provide psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Care includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and treatment adjustments based on clinical response, side effects, and life changes. Diagnostic assessment tools and pharmacogenetic testing may be utilized when appropriate. Providers coordinate with therapists and other members of the patient’s care team as needed, and referrals to specialists are made when clinically indicated. Treatment decisions are individualized and grounded in current clinical guidelines.

Individual Therapy/Counseling

Solace therapists conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide individual therapy for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Therapy is trauma-informed, strength-based, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on skill development, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and insight building. Therapy may be used as a stand-alone service or in combination with medication management or medical services. We are pleased to offer child and adolescent therapy. Therapy services are available to patients 9 years of age and older.

Caring for your Medical Health at Solace

Medical Treatment/Management

While Solace is not a primary care practice, our family nurse practitioners provide problem-focused, medically necessary services by telehealth. These visits address acute or uncomplicated medical conditions and may include medication initiation and short-term condition management. For patients already receiving mental health services, medical providers often evaluate symptoms that overlap with mental health conditions and coordinate care with psychiatric and therapy providers when appropriate. However, medical services may be used independently, as Solace medical providers are proficient in treating a variety of medical conditions.

Aesthetic Treatments Supporting Confidence & Wellness

Mental and physical wellness are deeply connected. Physical and age-related changes can affect how we feel about ourselves and how we show up in daily life. For some individuals, addressing select appearance-related concerns in a thoughtful, medically appropriate way can support confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being. At Solace, we take a whole-person approach, considering emotional health, medical factors, and personal goals together to support meaningful, sustainable wellness. Prescription-based aesthetic wellness services are available to adult patients.

Tretinoin is a prescription topical medication derived from vitamin A that has been widely studied and used in medical dermatology for decades. It works by increasing skin cell turnover and supporting collagen production. It improves acne and prevents clogged pores, as well as reducing fine lines and uneven skin texture. It causes an improvement in skin tone and discoloration over time and supports a healthier, more resilient skin with consistent use. Tretinoin may also be helpful for individuals whose skin concerns are affected by stress, hormonal changes, medications, or mental health conditions that influence skin health or self-care routines.

Bimatoprost is a prescription medication originally developed for medical use and later found to promote eyelash growth. It works by extending the growth phase of hair follicles, which results in increased eyelash length, thickness, and darkness. It promotes gradual, natural-appearing results with consistent use and reduces eyelash thinning that may be related to aging, stress, or medical factors. For some individuals, restoring changes in hair growth can support confidence and self-esteem, particularly when thinning has been distressing.

Medical evaluations for select cosmetic prescriptions are $100 per visit. Prescriptions, if clinically appropriate, are filled through your local pharmacy at an affordable price.
