At Solace Mental Health and Wellness, we provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy/counseling services, and collaborative mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults throughout Anne Arundel County and greater Maryland. Our clinicians work closely with therapists, medical providers, and families to create thoughtful treatment plans that support long-term well-being.
Difficulty with focus, organization, or task completion may be related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Solace offers comprehensive adult ADHD evaluations and medication management to help patients better understand their symptoms and develop effective treatment strategies.
Children and teens may struggle with ADHD, anxiety, mood changes, or emotional regulation. Our clinicians work with families, therapists, pediatricians, and schools to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy treatment plans for young patients.
Hormonal changes can affect mental health at many stages of life. We provide care for perinatal depression, postpartum anxiety, PMDD, and hormonally related mood symptoms, often collaborating with OB-GYN providers and therapists.
Mental health symptoms sometimes overlap with medical concerns such as thyroid disorders, PCOS, medication side effects, or metabolic changes. Our integrated psychiatric and medical care model helps address the full picture of a patient’s health.
If you would like a fresh perspective on your psychiatric medications, we offer consultations focused on diagnostic clarification, medication optimization, and treatment planning.
Serving greater Maryland, including Severna Park, Annapolis, Arnold, Millersville, Pasadena, and surrounding Anne Arundel County communities. Telemedicine and in-office appointments are available.
At Solace Mental Health and Wellness LLC, we provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that addresses both mental health conditions and the medical factors that influence emotional well-being. Our integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated, thoughtful care in one setting, reducing the fragmentation often experienced between medical and mental health systems. Services are delivered by licensed and certified psychiatric providers, therapists, and medical nurse practitioners who work collaboratively to support the whole person.
"Over every mountain,
there is a path,
although it may not be seen from the valley.”
– Theodore Roethke
Many people suffer from psychiatric disorders that cause significant distress or impairment of personal functioning. In these trying and unprecedented times, mental wellness is of the utmost importance. At Solace, we are here to help and guide you with compassionate care provided by a caring, board-certified team. We offer a variety of services (see our Services tab). We are Health at Every Size® (HAES®) principles-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
We Promote Accessibility and Autonomy through
Internet-Based Processes
We believe that two key elements improve access to treatment in the outpatient mental health setting: accessibility and autonomy.
Our providers are accessible and offer various avenues for patient-provider communication. Unless in session, our providers are available for administrative and straightforward clinical matters by phone, email, and messaging within the secure online patient portal (during business hours). We have streamlined and simplified new patient procedures, as most documents and forms are paperless, internet-based, and housed in a HIPAA-compliant electronic medical records system.
We endorse autonomy and flexibility. Patient forms are completed and submitted from the comfort of home, at a convenient time. Our patients can manage appointment scheduling through the secure patient portal.
